Description
The blue field with a column of three conjoined ivory stepped medallions, flanked on either side with similar half medallions, all with flora forms, animals and chickens framed within a chestnut red border enclosing continuous medallions alternating with flower heads linked by meandering vines issuing hooked boteh leaves.
Measures 93 x 52 inches.
Provenance: Phil Martin Estate. Phil's interest in Persian and Caucasian weavings began in the 1980's when he met Michael Grogan, who was still with Sotheby's at the time.

End encroachment as shown, heavy wear and some loss to the original edge wrap as shown. Wear overall to the knots in some areas, good lustrous wool. No other damage, repair, mothing, stain or odor.
