Item Details

Description

An antique Nautical brass and wooden adjustable telescope or spotting scope. Features a tripod stand equipped with a manual crank mechanism for adjusting the height of the instrument. Measures approximately 57" x 36" x 36" (with tripod stand extended), barrel measuring approximately 5" x 5" x 52" (retracted) and 5" x 5" x 70" (extended). No apparent maker marks. Provenance; a private collection.

Dimensions: 57 X 36 X 36 in.

Condition: Good to fair condition having average age related surface wear and patina. Telescope has not been tested for viewing clarity, and may require professional cleaning and or service. Please bid accordingly. Estate fresh to the market.
