A pair of Danish Modern sterling silver compote dishes by Carl Poul Peterson (1895-1977), apprentice to Georg Jensen (1866-1935). Elegant Scandinavian Modern designs with foliate botanical and berry handles surmounting floral and berry form stems and circular stepped bases. Makers marks to undersides and stamped HAND MADE STERLING. Combined approximate silver weight 1,150 grams. Provenance; a private collection.
Dimensions: 8 X 7 X 8 in.
Condition: Good overall condition with normal age related surface wear and patina. Estate fresh to the market.
