A cradle style design featuring varnished finish, carved scrolling and feather designs to elevated end boards, reticulated pierced work to long sides, and dual hinged doors to top with large metal ring handles. Interior having generous storage space for blankets, clothing, and other items. Surmounting a quartet of baluster form legs. No apparent signature. Approximate height not including elevated sides 16". Provenance; a private collection.
