Description
A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN DISH, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722). With lobbed rim decorated with various floral scenes, with Yu (jade) mark to base in double ring; Together with one other bowl decorated with deer, Tianqi period af (1621 ? 1627). Dish 24.5cm diam. (2) Dish with chip to rim leading into a 5cm hairline, with further chip at foot, no repairs. The bowl with restoration damaged and re stuck in sections. Provenance: Property of Dennis Young, son to Sir Mark Aitchison Young GCMG (1886-1974) who served as Governor of Hong Kong between 1941 and 1947, thence by descent.
