This is the first generation of this set, which contained either a red or blue monorail (the 2 original colours of the Disneyland-Alweg Mark 1 monorail in Anaheim, California). The monorails in the first generation set were the lightest made by Schuco and the fastest running. Marked, "Schuco" and "Disneyland", on box, monorail, and instruction sheet. Marked, "Walt Disney Corp, USA", on box and "Walt Disney USA", on monorail. Train: 14.5" length. Box: 2" x 19" x 14.5". The Howie Meyer Legacy Collection.

Toy is in excellent, complete condition with minimal playwear evident. Flared side panels. Includes track, cable, supports, 3-piece D/C model monorail, and photocopied instructions. Original box has styrofoam insert. Box shows some water damage and tape restoration to lid.
