Presented for your buying pleasure are an old braided rawhide headstall and a very old handmade quirt. The headstall comes with matching hand braided split reins. The wooden handle of the quirt was hand carved, but is worn smooth from use, it's lash is braided from dark leather. Two old items of tack that would be a great addition to your collection or hanging on your tack room wall. Bid today!
MAKER: Unknown.
APPROX AGE: Antique (meaning made prior to the 1930s).
SIZE: The handle of the quirt measures approximately 15 inches long and the quirt is 60 inches overall. The headstall measures approximately 27 inches long and the reins measure approximately 50 inches long.
CONDITION: Average to good for its age, normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
