Important object ''Turning Point'' Jon Kuhn, *1949 Colourless glass, multiply shaped with melted-in geometric shapes (cubes, diamonds) made of colourless and coloured glass, partially covered with gold and platinum foil, sawn, cut, polished and glued. Metal stand. Total height: 122 cm (object height: 78 cm). The property is located near Frankfurt/Main. If purchased, it can be dismantled and packaged there. Provenance: South German private collection Purchase price: 49,800 dollars Jon Kuhn is one of the world's leading glass artists. His work can be found in over 40 international museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Vatican Museums, the National Museum of American Art, the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Hamburg, and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Lausanne. His sculpture ''Peaceful Horizon'' was included in the permanent collection of the White House in Washington in 1993 at the request of then-President Bill Clinton.
