Rare roller jug with tin mount Durlach, dat. 1754 Pewter ring. Retracted lip margin and slightly projecting foot edge. On the white-glazed wall in green, blue, ochre, yellow, manganese and black, finely painted décor: crowned laurel wreath, in it a conifer/tree of life on a grass base. Above it initials ''IDB'', laterally dated ''1754''. On the back and on the pewter handle flower arrangements. Stepped pewter lid with spherical pusher. In 2016, a Durlach roller jug appeared on the art trade, also dated 1754, with the indication that this piece is one of the earliest known Durlach roller jugs, painted by Cyriacus Löwer.
