Antique c1880s Really Pink 9 Patch Quilt with a Colorful Strippy Bars Back. It measures 65 by a 84 inches. It is comprised of 16 9 patch blocks, 10.5x10.5", set straight, 4 by 4. There is 5" wide vertical sashing and 7" wide horizontal sashing. The double pink print border measures 4.5-11.5" wide. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. There is a thick cotton batting and a strip be bars back reverse with cheddar, Turkey red, and green. The edge is finished knife edge style, by hand. It is in good condition with several spots. This quilt is from the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
