Two Catherine the Great Armorial Porcelain Plates, China, c. 1785. Each with flaring reticulated marly encircled by fine sepia and gold wave border, the well enamel-painted with border of entwined floral vine and ribbon, centering the sepia-painted Imperial Arms of Russia, comprised of a double-headed eagle clasping scepter and orb, charged with heraldic shield depicting St. George and the Dragon, (imperfections), diam. 7 1/2, ht. 7/8 in.
