This folded letter addressed to "My Friend" is hand-written in purple ink on cream-color paper with deckled edges. The back of this letter is addressed to "Jonathan Harker" and features postage and a black stamp for "3 Jun 97." It is accompanied by another similar letter also hand-written in purple ink with deckled edges. The folded letter exhibits frayed fibers along the folds and ink marks from a pen.
