AOR-2.358 Hog Farm Rick Griffin Signed Poster. 1969, January 1. Designed by Rick Griffin. Original 1st printing poster on thin white stock with can in the center reading 'Royal Cream Pudding'. Signed by Rick Griffin to the bottom right in gold ink. Made for the weekly gatherings of the 'Hog Farmers' at Cinemateque 16 on Sunset Boulevard. The Hog Farm, recognized as America's longest-standing hippie commune, originated as a collective hog farm in North Hollywood, California. The group was founded by peace activist and clown, Hugh 'Wavy Gravy' Romney, in the 1960s and is widely acknowledged for its involvement in Woodstock Music Festival. 20.25 x 28.25 in.
