During his beginnings he started working in the workshop of Francisco Asorey. With his work he established himself as one of the so-called "renovators of contemporary Galician art". Together with Xaime Quesada and Vicente Risco, he formed what was called the group "Os Artistiñas", also known as "O Volter", the name of the bar where they used to meet and socialize. Acisclo Manzano is an elected member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Galicia. His work is defined as a figurative artist, although some of his works bear the stamp of abstraction. His works try to reflect the harmony between the material and the form in fact in words of the artist himself When he is proposed a sculpture, the first thing he does is to study the project and analyze the environment, it can take months to reach a conclusion, but then when it is already installed he tries not to notice that it is there. Acisclo Manzano has exhibited in many artistic spaces around the world such as the United States, Europe, and practically all of Spain. He has also been awarded several prizes such as the Celanova, Casa dos Poetas, in 2004, and also international awards are part of an extensive curriculum.
