Description
forest green linen with two carved jade panels woven to resemble a butterfly.
A self-taught artist, she discovered macramé in 1970. She participated in many collaborative and individual exhibitions in New York, San Francisco and in the Northeast Ohio area, including the Cleveland Institute of Art, NOVA, Cleveland Museum of Art, and The Mitzi Verne Gallery. Simone received special mention for crafts in the 1980 May Show at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
