BIOGRAPHY:
Diarne Jandt is an award-winning artist. Ms. Jandt's art has been accepted into numerous juried regional art competitions. After winning awards at virtually every show she enters, including Best of Show, she is attracting attention. One of her award winning paintings: "Wake Me When It's Spring" was featured in the September 2003 issue of The Artist Magazine. It wasn't until she lost much of her mobity, that she discovered her talent for painting. She is particularly attracted to the ordinary, often overlooked, scenes. Her love for old and new buiidings, people of all ages and animals are reflected in her art. Dianne is a member as well as a board member of the following professional organizations: Minnesota Watercolor Society, Artist of Minnesota, and ProfessionalArtist Guild. She also is a member of several local art organizations including the Burnsville Area Society for the Arts and the Bloomington Art Center.Ms. Jandt's artwork is in private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Her original pieces, including watercolors, oils, and charcoals, as well as prints of several of her works are available for purchase.
