A Chinese cloisonne 'flower pot'-style decoration

19th century

A rectangular cloisonne blue-ground footed jardiniere with polychrome vignettes of birds and deer. The jardiniere contains a crystal flower bouquet imitation. Flowers consist of variously colored carved crystals, turquoise, jade, jadeite, and coral items.

With missing crystals and stones to the floral arrangement, chipping to crystals, minor areas of enamel loss to cloisonne throughout, minor denting to rim, and one area of overpainting to jardiniere.
