A beautiful hand paint color, and ink on paper woodblock vertical print. Edo period, features a group of figures celebrating a festival at night, fireworks in the distance. Full title Kudanzaka: The Moon-awaiting Festival on the Night of the Twenty-sixth, no. 4. Original print can be found in the 1860s series, Forty-Eight Famous Views of Edo, by the ukiyo-e artist Hiroshige II (Japanese 1826-1869). Title series on the top right. Title print on the top right.
