A beautiful hand painted color, and ink on paper woodblock horizontal print. Edo Period, features a couple admiring the twin rock formations (known as the Meoto-iwa) in the ocean, and a woman in a sedan chair with porters. Print by the ukiyo-e artist Katsukawa Shunsen (Japanese, 1762- approximately 1830). Artist mark and publisher red seal on the lower left. Publisher's surname on the lower right. Print placed on a mat paper. Mat: 20.5"W x 15"H. Sight size: 14"W x 9.75"H. Print size: 15"W x 10.5"H.
