Description
WWII U.S. Navy Sedgley Mark 5 Signal Flare Pistol. One of two models RF Sedgley made for the US Navy during wartime efforts. Features a 6" barrel with 22mm bore/10 gauge. Top rib of the barrel is stamped "SIGNAL PISTOL MARK 5 R.F. SEDGLEY, INC. 1944". The black synthetic grips feature a checkered diamond with "USN" circled in the center. Lanyard loop at the base of the grip. Barrel and right side of the frame stamped with matching serial numbers. CALIBER: 10 Gauge. S/N: 242692. FFL STATUS: N/A.
Condition
Retains 70% original finish. Does show wear, dings and scuffs throughout but overall in great shape for a Navy wartime piece. Bore does show wear, but all mechanics are great.
