Manufactured in Belgium 1978 as a limited production of 500 sets to celebrate Browning's Centennial. The shotgun barrel is 26.5" blued fluid steel with ventilated rib, 3" chamber, single bead front sight, choked full and modified. Rifle barrel is 24" blued steel with single blade front sight, flip-up rear, chambered in 30-06 Springfield with automatic ejectors. The receiver features 80% engraved coverage with right side featuring a gold embossed quail surrounded by scroll and floral. Left side features a gold embossed elk in panel surrounded by scroll and floral engraving. Bottom right corner is signed "R.BEE" by Rosa Maria Bee, sister of master engraver Angelo Bee. Bottom of the receiver and trigger guard feature the same scroll and floral engraving along with a portrait of John M. Browning and Centennial name. Both barrels present with an engraved forearm release to match the receiver's floral scroll. Single select trigger and automatic safety. Stock and foregrip are straight grain walnut. Stock is a straight European grip. Standard hand-checkering at 20 LPI. Buttstock is fitted with a hard rubber butt plate. Signed pieces by "R.BEE" are rarely encountered and very highly sought after. Rifle barrels retain 95% original blue with various handling and use marks. Lower barrel and center wear show blue wear approximately 4" from the muzzle. Left side at the center rib shows moderate blue wear. Shotgun barrels retain 97% original blue with bottom barrel showing moderate freckling on the underside with no section loss, and the ventilated rib has extremely light wear from field use. Receiver shows light to moderate carry wear on hand grips. The buttstock and forend show 98% original condition. Left side at center of grip area has a faint ding. Forend has light field usage. Good bores and mechanics. Case is in good condition.
