Manufactured in 1952. Features a 30" blued factory solid ventilated rib barrel with red dot bead sight. Full choke with 2.75" chamber. Both sides of the barrel at the receiver end feature scroll engraving. Pigeon engraved on the bottom of the magazine tube signifying Pigeon grade. Standard Model 12 receiver with blued sides and matte finish top. Right side features embossed pointer dog flushing two quails, surrounded by floral and scroll engraving. Left side features two gold embossed pointer dogs and one rising quail, surrounded by floral and scroll engraving. Gold wire border on both sides. Bolt and follower are machined jeweled. Trigger guard and rounded areas of the receiver also features scroll engraving. Buttstock and forend are 2X walnut with standard Pigeon grade hand checkering. Barrel and magazine tube are 98%+. Bluing near the receiver are turning a plum tone. All Winchester factory stampings are clear and legible. Receiver is in 99% condition. Bolt does show some slide wear on the jeweling. Stock and forearm are in 98% condition with stock showing light field use. Possible factory pattern engraving without signature. Good bore and mechanics.
