Manufactured in Italy for Weatherby in the early 1970's. Features 28" blue O/U barrels with ventilated rib and single bead front sight. Choked improved cylinder and modified with automatic ejectors and 2.75" chambers. "Weatherby" in gold inlay on barrel in front of action. Coin finish receiver is engraved by master engraver Vasco Revera featuring floral and scroll engraving with 90% coverage. Blued top tang features Greener style crossbolt and trigger guard. Gold single select trigger has some light fading. Floorplate shows "Weatherby Regency" in gold inlay. Forearm and buttstock are a beautifully figured hand checkered walnut with rosewood grip cap and diamond inlay. Buttstock is fitted with factory Weatherby factory recoil pad. CALIBER: 12 Gauge. Barrels retain 98% original blue finish with small areas of discoloration. Ventilated rib has three faint dings from field use. Receiver retains 96% coin finish with faint staining on the floorplate from carry use. Forend is in 98% original condition with light field use marks. Buttstock is 98% overall with a series of scratches 3" from the heel, through the finish to the wood, approximately 1/2" by 1/2". Good bores and mechanics.
