Long tang serial number 39443, indicating 1954 production. Bottom right of the receiver is signed "Glimm Engr" by master engraver Jerome Glimm, member of the Engravers Guild of America. Deep relief floral engraving covers 98% of the action, forearm release and trigger guard. Floorplate has 98% coverage and retains factory "Browning" lettering. Single select trigger and automatic safety. Stocks are an updated 2X walnut with upgraded polished finish. Forearm is standard Browning dimensions with Browning checkering with wide 2.25" bottom, tapering up to the finger groove and then a flat top edge. Buttstock is 2X walnut with standard Browning dimensions and Browning checkering on the pistol grip. Pistol grip cap is black plastic with a white spacer.
