Very good with no holes, rips or repairs. Oil painting on canvas titled "Little Girl in the Country" by American realist painter Adolf Sehring (1930-2015). This painting reflects a common motif in Sehrings works, with a young child as the central point of emphasis set in a beautiful landscape. This particular painting features a young blonde girl collecting wildflowers near a pond, with an old rustic country barn in the background. Adolf Sehring was born in Russia to a German father and would later move to Philidelphia as WWII broke out. Sehring served in the Korean War and taught himself how to paint while enlisted. Sehring garnered great local acclaim and internationalal acknowledgment especially with his portrait of Pope John Paul II in 1979 and a bronze of Pocahantus later in 1994. Approx. canvas size 30" x 24".
