Central Asia, Nepal, ca. late 19th to 20th century CE. A fine brass figure of an 8-armed deity seated atop a lotus-flower with 2 hands together in prayer and the other 6 radiating outwards, all holding various implements. Size: 2.3" W x 3.3" H (5.8 cm x 8.4 cm)
Provenance: private Rockford, Illinois, USA collection, acquired in the 2000s via descent, originally acquired in China in 1948

Perforation to bottom with some minor nicks to base and verso. Possible chip to one hand. Surface wear as shown with nicks and abrasions, but otherwise intact and excellent with rich patina and liberal remaining detail.
