A yellow jade Archaistic sword pommel, Ming or Qing Dynasty (private English collection)
the thick, circular disc form pommel has a raised central boss with whorl motif and flanked by two raised chilong, entwine around the circular edge of the pommel, the tails of which continue down the side in low-relief, on the underside are circular marks where the pommel would had been attached to the hilt, the stone of even yellow tone with blue copper inclusions
