finely carved in standing position, his right hand half raised in abhaya murdra, his left hand extending downwards, his elegant and serene face with the gentle features delicately picked out, the head covered with tightly curled whorls, the upper torso bare, the standing barefoot revealed from the draping robes, the stone of creamy white colour, with slight brownish tone on the lower part
