Description
Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo, ca. 20th to 21st century CE. A gorgeous sterling silver and turquoise stone ring by a contemporary silversmith, the underside marked "MLG" and "Sterling." Similar marks have been attributed to both artists Manuel Garcia and Maynard Garcia. The polished Morenci turquoise stone with the characteristic mottled robin egg blue and pale teal is set in a formfitting bezel on broad shoulders. The ring is in great condition, wearable, and intended for men's sized fingers. Size of bezel face: 1.42" L x 1" W (3.6 cm x 2.5 cm); band opening: 0.77" L (2 cm); US ring size: 9.5; silver quality: 92.5%; weight: 40 grams
