Presented in this lot is an Original Signed Catherine Parker Melton Oil on Canvas, circa mid-century, framed. Lovely vintage oil painting on canvas depicting a springtime landscape scene with an abandoned farmstead barn in the background, and a dilapidated barbed wire fence in the foreground. Catherine Parker Melton (1888-1959) was a oil painter and sculptor. Professionally stretched and mounted in a vintage wood frame, piece is in very nice condition, very slight scuffs noted on frame edges, no other marring observed. Visible art measures 19.5"W x 23.5"L, frame is 27.75"W x 32"L x 1.5"D, weight 6lb.
