Decorative porcelain cognac bottle designed in the shape of a book made by L&Cie Limoges, France, circa mid-20th century, on top of the book the inscription in French: "Au plaisir des damer" - a well-known novel by Emile Zola published in 1883, on the front side is decorated with a print of a couple of lovers after Pergonard, and decorated all around with rich gilding. Dimensions: 11X4X17.5 cm. There may have been a cork - missing.
