With typed address and mailing stamp on verso. 50.5x34.5 cm (20x14").Rare poster/flyer for Donald Hughes' "Drawings Lithographs, and Toys" artist reception at San Francisco's Capper Gallery on August 1st, 1969. No other examples of the poster were located. From the collection of artist Marvin Lipofsky, with his mailing address on the verso.Marvin Lipofsky was an American glass artist, and instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, and the California College of Arts and Crafts, where he was responsible for training many studio artists. Notable students include John Lewis, Richard Marquis, and Jay Musler.
