A Prehistoric Native American Neolithic stone pisciform tool. Naturally polished creek rock in the shape of fish. The eyes of the Neolithic fish are made in the form of small rounded depressions. Circa 5000 to 3000 BC. The Neolithic was characterized by stone, polished, smooth, or drilled tools. The entry into the Neolithic coincides with the transition of culture to a producing type of economy, that is, the period of early agriculture and cattle breeding. The end of the Neolithic dates back to the time of the appearance of metal tools and weapons, that is, the beginning of the Copper, Bronze, or Iron Age.
