Sold by Marx toy company in 1959 to coincide with Alaska?s admission as a state. Playset is used but in very good condition. Contains colorful tin lithographed trading post approximately 5.5 high and 20.5 long, 16 soft plastic blue Eskimos, 15 soft plastic grey trappers and miners (3 with minor damage), 18 soft plastic cream colored animals, 3 soft plastic igloos, 2 dog sleds (one with broken harness), 1 soft plastic kayak, and assorted plastic accessories such as tool box, barrels, well, tree stump etc. Box in good condition.
