He served in the military during the Korean conflict, After military service he was employed By a major communication company where he spent times in the Asian countries His interest of the fine artwork on porcelains created his desire to collect various items over his career.

All this in advertently gave texture, energy, shading to the design, and prosperous combination color in Chinese culture.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six and four under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Tongzhi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
