Chinese Qing Dynasty Yongzheng Bean Green Douqing Glazed Porcelain Bowl. Potted in a shallow body, slight deep, thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the flaring mouth rim, raised on a small round slight concave footing. Warm and uniform bean green glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Green is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. Green stands for health, prosperity, and harmony. In Chinese culture, green stands for cleanliness and purity from contamination. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years of Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
