Unacceptable being smoking, drinking, sex and…(gasp) driving. The end of World War I gave birth to these party loving, swing dancing, free spirits. You couldn’t bring her home to mom but you can bring her home with this statue. This flapper revels in the scolding chatter of her elders as kicks off her heels and does the Charleston topless. Boldly dressed only in thigh-high gold shorts, she kicks a leg up. A golden sash loops over her wrists and around the leg she tiptoes on. She is no waif, she is very voluptuous and round, something this brazen beauty is unabashed by. She has black bobbed hair and a gold headband, a popular style of the Jazz obsessed era. 100% bronze and fully detailed, this brown and gold patina sculpture was cast using the “Lost Wax Method”. It is mounted on a round black marble base and signed by the artist Fanny Rozet.
