Description
After Rembrandt Harmenszoon Van Rijn (1606-1669). Beggar with His Left Hand Extnded. Antique hand pulled copper plate etching on laid paper after the original by master etcher Amand Durand (1831 - 1905). Year: c. 1880 (This print is from the 1800's it is NOT a modern print.) Signed in the plate. Reference: Bartsch 150, Lugt. 2934. Image Size 1 5/8 x 2 5/8 inches. Framed Dimensions approximately 13 x 14 inches. Gallery Matted and Framed in a New Solid Wood Moulding. This master print also has Amand Durand's stamp on the reverse which can be referenced by Lugt. 2934. Most of the original Durand prints from the 1800's do not have the Lugt stamp on the reverse which makes this a rarity. This artwork is accompanied by a Gallery Certificate of Authenticity and is Guaranteed as described.
