A Framed KPM Porcelain Plaque of Children Playing in a Haywagon, Germany, circa 1878, after Carl Johann Lasch, large format rectangular shape polychrome enameled, impressed scepter mark, plaque 16 x 19 1/4, gilt wood frame 29 1/2 x 33 in. Footnotes: Provenance: New England Industrialist Lucius Bowles Darling was a successful businessman and politician, including his appointment as Lieutenant Governor of Rhode Island (1885-1887), member of the Rhode Island State Board of Education, and owner of the Pawtucket, Rhode Island Music Hall Building. Darling and his and wife Angeline (Armington) embarked on a Grand Tour circa 1878, purchasing items for their Pawtucket home. Together with the original invoice from L.
