The shield has 8 daggers studded and helmet has 4 daggers studded with 7 spikes which makes this Set unusual and rare. Nasal Guard: Retractable nose guard to giveprotection to the center of face, Adjustable & sliding. The interior of set is well padded with cushion. The shield is much larger thanunusual shield , it measures 19 inches in diameter & helmet is 17.5 inches high with chain mail. This helmet & Shield have dramaticdetailing to this incredible piece of armor. An interesting set showing the influence of other cultures, Circa Qajar period 18th.-19th.ccentury.
