Item Details
Description
LeRoy Neiman (American, 1921-2012) two oil on paper drawings framed together, originally appearing in the February 1967 issue of Playboy magazine, as part of the "Man at His Leisure" series.

The top drawing illustrates page 114 with the caption, "Carrying her lightweight board over her head, a surf bird makes her way toward the ocean." The lower illustration appears on page 113, with the caption, "A well-tanned surfer and his date paddle out to where the action is.  "Most surfers," repeats Neiman,"are confidently blasé about  finding surfmates, and Malibu regulars will say with a shrug, 'You name 'em, we've got 'em.'"
