Making Uniface striking patterns is a European minting practice which we also saw in Woodard/Kann/NC Collection, such as a set of 1884 Kirin Tael, a set of 1910 Empire Series Dollar struck by the Austria Mint in Vienna (including one dollar, 50 cents, 25 cents, and 10 cents uniface striking patterns in tin) and also a Silver Dollar Uniface Striking Pattern from the 1991 Goodman Quction. NC Collection also had a 1911 Empire 50 Cent Lead Uniface Pattern with L Giorgi Signature.
