Extra large Chinese Qing Dynasty Bronze & Cloisonne Pagoda topped Incense Burner elaborately detailed with Archaistic motifs and Taotie Masks with an elaborate base holding the central incense burner on 3 legs with 2 flared handles marked with a 6 character Qianlong mark, and a cover shaped as a Pagoda with 2 yellow enameled roofs and a flaming pearl top, above cloisonne columns with pierced bronze surrounds; assembles in 9 parts. Total height 86 inches (218.5 cm.) X diameter at base 25 1/4 inches (64 cm.), width of censer from handle to handle 33 3/4 inches (85.5 cm.). PROVENANCE: A Private Collection from Connecticut.
