A PAN-AMERICAN EXPOSITION OF 1901 OFFICIAL LOGO PROMOTIONAL SILK SCARF, BY RAPHAEL BECK (American 1858-1947), POSSIBLY BUFFALO, NEW YORK, 1899-1901, lithograph in colors on silk, signed in plate by artist, "Raphael Beck pinx.," and copyright 1899 by Pan-American Exposition Co., featuring flags from the region, an important flag to note is the flag of Hawaii flown over an annexed, unincorporated, and unorganized territory of the United States, and the central iconic image of two personifications of North and South America joining hands at Panama is the iconic illustration most advertised during the 1901 exposition; 22" x 22 3/4", framed 28" x 28".
