EIGHT KANGXI REVIVAL CHINESE EXPORT ROSE MEDALLION AND FAMILLE VERTE ENAMELED PORCELAIN PLATES WITH IRON RED BUDDHISTIC LIONS, QING DYNASTY (1644-1912), ATTRIBUTED TO GUANGXU REIGN (1875-1908), POSSIBLY CANTON, a wide outermost rim is enameled over glazed porcelain with pale blue Greek key scrolls enclosing the reserve revealing an avian scene of a songbird on a berried branch, interspersed by famille verte enameled yellow reserves each painted with scrolls, bamboo, or fans among in a bed of green flowers to a dished bowl with mint green reserves enclosing blue flower sprays interspersed by rose medallion scenes of offering fruits set in dense leaves and colorful flowers on a traditional gilt ground, to a double-peaked iron red liner centering a scene of a grey curly haired parental guardian lion playing with two iron red lion cubs. Height: 1 1/4" Diameter: 8 3/4"
