Description

Jon G. Bedford (American, born 1941). A welded mixed metals sculpture. A brutalist form of a wildlife work comprised of sections of welded metal depicting a recumbent cheetah or leopard modeled as if stalking prey below, and lying astride a black rectangular base. Artist incised signature to right rump of cat.

Dimensions: 26.5 X 39.5 X 21.5 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear with evidence of verdigris, patina, and oxidation. Base has mild to moderate wear with small losses to edges and corners. Estate fresh to the market.
