About the artists: Soviet Ukrainian painter. Member of the USSR Union of Artists, NSHU. Valentin Antonovich Tishetsky was born on September 20, 1951 in Kryzhopol, Vinnitsa region, he was fond of drawing since childhood. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1993. During his school years he dreamed of becoming not an artist, but a writer. “We often moved, I remember how I was fascinated by the beauty of Dmitrashkovka, where my father was rebuilding a mill destroyed by the war. After Lvov. Where we lived for twelve years and I attended an art school, ”recalls Valentin Tishetskiy. In the same place in Lvov he completed the preparatory courses of the Lvov Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. The young artist from a provincial town received his professional education in Moscow. In 1978 he graduated from the Moscow Art School "In Memory of 1905." (Nowadays the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Art Pedagogy). Perhaps that is why Valentin Tishetsky considers himself a representative of the Moscow school of painting, the elements and traditions of which he seeks to convey in his canvases. The artist works in the field of easel painting. There is a tangible spirit of our southern Podillia in his works. Participant of regional and republican exhibitions. Works in the field of easel monumental painting. Valentin Antonovich is the winner of the "Person of the Year" competition in the "Artist" category. The name of this person is known far beyond the Vinnitsa region. His works are kept in private collections in Israel, USA, Canada, Italy, Russia, Austria, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, as well as in the Art Museum of Vinnitsa, the Directorate of the Union of Artists of Ukraine in Kiev, the Embassy of Ukraine in Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture and Art of Ukraine in Kiev, Mirgorodsky Museum of Local Lore, the Office of the Council of Ministers, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Administration of the President of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in Austria. The works of Valentin Tishetsky, like himself, are captivating with their simplicity, truthfulness, gentleness, which gives them a unique attractive power. In his paintings, the artist involuntarily creates the world in which he would like to live himself. Not alien to Valentin Antonovich and the portrait genre. His portraits are saturated with light, attention to the inner world of a person, the desire to convey the beauty of the portrayed, the harmony of the image. In addition to creating paintings, Valentin Tishetsky is engaged in the decoration of books by poets and prose writers. The artist participated in exhibitions: 1992 - the exhibition is dedicated to the first anniversary of Independence of Ukraine, Kiev. 1996 - an exhibition dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the Zaporozhye Cossacks. 2000 - international competition "2000 years under the star of Bethlehem". The work "Warmer" won the prize of the jury of collectors. 2001 - jubilee exhibition "Confess Ukraine", dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence. 2002 - participant of the Moscow exhibition, which was held as part of the Year of Ukraine in Russia. 2004 - participant of the exhibition dedicated to the 195th anniversary of the birth of T.G. Shevchenko. 2011 - participant of the exhibition "Christmas-New Year's Moods", gallery MO "Lemekh", Lviv.
