Description
This cast iron cigar cutter advertising Tom Reed Cigars was made by the Northwestern Company in Illinois, with a patent date of July 13th, 1909. Northwestern produced this cigar cutter and lighter with an unusual feature: once you nipped your cigar, the mechanism pushes forth a match through the slot in the top. If you use non-safety matches (which are hard to find), when you pull that match out, it will automatically light. They made the same cigar cutters under many different brands, and the Tom Reed "Lamisno" is a hard one to find. CONDITION: There are no breaks, cracks or repairs. It is operational and in re-done copper flash finish. Condition: (Very Good) Dimensions: 7" x 6" x 8"
