Description
A very interesting and early cigar cutter with wood base and brass compartment, with a standing goat and an area behind the goat where stick matches would be. When you depress the goat backwards to nip the cigar in the hole in the front, there is a pin in his bottom that will then stab the wooden stick match and bring it forward for you to light your cigar. The standing goat has great detail, including the ram's horns. The piece is not marked, and has a pull-out lever in the front in order to dispense the clippings from inside the cigar cutter. A really interesting early piece of cigar memorabilia. CONDITION: There is wear and oxidation of patina from age, but no breaks, cracks or repairs, fully functional. Condition: (Very Good) Dimensions: 4" x 4" x 5"
