Description
This cast iron and tin turtle spittoon was made by the Golden & Jacobson Company in 1880. It is marked for their company of Monroe St. in Chicago, Illinois. A cast iron base construction with a tin lid. It operates from depressing the turtles head. The turtle maintains original cast iron interior, spit bucket and copper flash finish. CONDITION: There are some areas of wear to the copper flash finish and finish loss, but no breaks, cracks or repairs to the cast iron. A very good example of this difficult to find spittoon. Condition: (Very Good) Dimensions: 13" X 9" X 4"
